Some of the best ways we engage in LOVING GOD are through the spiritual practices. Reading and reflecting on God’s Word are two of the best practices for spiritual growth. Together, let’s experience, discover and fall in love with The One who first loved us.

For several years our High School students have had the opportunity to be a part of Life Groups, and everyone who has been a part knows how they are a blast. They also are the best way we have to help you get connected to other students while learning who God created you to be.
We will be giving all High School students another opportunity to get a taste of Life Groups. If you are part of a group, you will be able to share the experience with a few others who live in your area. And if you’ve never been a part of a Life Group, we know you’re going to be hooked!!! And to mix it up even more, we also have a special surprise in store this year for the Fall Life Group Kick Off.
We hope you can join us August 25, and September 1 in the Gym at 7:00pm for “A Taste of Life Groups.” And as always, we hope you can come a little early and grab something from the Café and catch up with your friends.

Wednesdays are the front door to our ministry and the best place to start out, our worship service has live music provided by a band of high school and college students, and relevant teaching about life. This Fall we will be taking an in-depth look at Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7.

Every week a group of parents and leaders get together to pray for you, and we would love to know how to better pray for you. If there is anything, I mean anything we can pray for you about, please let us know.
And there are 2 ways you can get your requests to us
*leave it here as a comment, but know that anyone who accesses the sight may see your request so there is no privacy.
or
*send an email to danee@mtparan.com . If you do not sign it, when your requests are passed on to our prayer teams, they will all be anonymous.

Living with a pure heart and mind has always been an everyday battle. But with the internet, it has become an increasingly hard battle because the images readily available. Boundaries and accountability are a necessity if we are going to live a holy life, especially concerning what we look at on the internet. If you’re at a place where you have been bound by addictions, or the temptation is great, or you just want to be wise and preventative, there is an online accountability program called X3 that is free.
With this program you will be able to have all your web activity monitored by 2 accountability partners, and every week they will receive 2 reports. If you have someone who is already an accountability partner, or someone you trust, you could set them as up ro receive the updates on your webactivity. Also, there are several of us here on staff available, and would love to help you.
It is the best free program we know of to help you with accountability. It also very simple. Just go to http://x3watch.com/ .
